information. Brief
Description of the City:
Xalapa is located at the skirts of the Chest of Perote. Xalapa
has an abundant and rich vegetation, that comes from the
mountains around Xalapa. Xalapa was constituted as a village in
1791, and become to be the capital of Veracruz state in 1830.
History:
It was founded in 1513, around the four pre-hispanic settlements
that gave origin: Xallitic, Tecuanapan, Tlamecapan and
Techacapan, Xalapa became the Capital of the state of Veracruz
in the XIX century.
With an urban line particularly recognized by its steep streets,
paved alleys and buildings that show excellent examples of
architectural styles that go from Gothic, neoclassical and
Renaissance, French to the contemporary and modern,

COATEPEC
Brief Description of the City:
Coatepec is a coffee region of great tradition and quality in
our country since last century. Coatepec has a rich colonial
mixture. In Coatepec there are 370 real estate with historic
value, for this reason, Coatepec has been declared Historic
Patrimony of the Nation. It is important to indicate that
Coatepec has been recognized internationally as "The City of the
Coffee", due to its magnificent and abundant coffee production.

whole city, and the delicious ice creams made of fruits. Trout,
“Acamayas” (prawns), coffee liquor, and cream of coffee that is
a delighting experiences for anyone of the visitors.
